Fresh from a very old upstate New York estate that was filled with original family items is this truly noteworthy circa 1850 quilt measuring approximately 53" by 83". The quilt has a dazzling floral and wreath pattern with a tassel and swag border along with meticulous quilting. Aside from some small scattered spots of wear and some very small scattered spots of discoloration from age the quilt is in remarkable condition and displays beautifully. I took pictures outside so you're seein...g the actual colors in natural lighting. If you collect fine quilts or early Americana folk art than this one's definitely for you. I find a quilt of this quality once every few years as they're getting very difficult to find especially in this condition so please email if you have any questions.
