We are listing today a great Antique 19th century Stoneware Salt Glazed Flower Decorated Small Canning Jar Crock, looks to be a Pennsylvania or Maryland Piece. This crock is in Excellent Condition with 2 old smooth chips to the top rim, 1 on inside 1 on outside, no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. Some slight manufactured roughness, the leaf decorations are a bit light. The crock measures 8 1/2" tall, the top rim is 5 1/4" x 4 7/8" x 6" wide x 4 7/8" at the base a...nd weighs approximately 4lb 6oz. The crock features a great cylindrical small form, slightly ovoid top rim, great decorations at the top shoulder, 1 drooping tulip flower and 2 drooping leaf decoration.
