Original Description:
A 315" (800cm) length of unused Victorian Brussels appliqué lace on a machine net ground, plus two small pieces of the same lace.  The lace is 3 3/4" (9.5cm) deep, not including the engrelure.  It is still wrapped around a piece of lilac tissue and stitched in place, so I cannot be certain, there are no tiny breaks, but I can't see any. in very good vintage condition.  There are two more short pieces which are 23" (58.5cm) long and one has a hole, see photographs. There... is a label attached suggesting that the lace dates between 1800 - 1850, but 1800 is too early, c1850 is more likely.
