Another chance to build your collection with gorgeous petrified wood! A museum quality round of Chinese Walnut from the Yakima River canyon in Washington state. With a nice second heart, or branch spike. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Awesome agate. This is a true gem! 9 1/4 x 8 x 7/8". Thick and heavy, cut "back in the day", when they weren...'t concerned with how many slabs they could get from a log! And, polished on both sides! I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. The wood from the Yakima Canyon is from logs dug in the 50's and 60's. No longer open to collecting. It is some of the best Pacific Northwest petrified wood, which is saying a lot! Ships USPS priority. Package is sanitized prior to sealing and shipping.
