For your consideration is a lovely and rare VINTAGE BJARNE MEYER STERLING SILVER BLUE STONE CHICAGO ARTS CRAFTS HAND-WROUGHT BRACELET.
The bracelet measures ~ 7-1/8"(18cm)L x 1/2"(12.5cm)W consisting of four 7-16"(1.5cm) long bezel-mounted blue cabochon stones interspersed between four 1"(2.54cm) curved hammered panels. Weight including stones is 17grams.
Meyer (1896-1949) was a Chicago Arts and Crafts jeweler active for about 20 years until the 1940's, after which time he mo...ved to the East Coast and died shortly thereafter. He produced a number of pieces on his own but also apparently worked for John Petterson and later Georg Jensen.
The piece is in very good condition with minor signs of aging/wear (e.g. some fine scratches), nice patina and gentle planishing. One link carries clear marks including:
