L@@k Tool Collectors! Up for sale is an awesome Rare Vintage DARLING BROWN & SHARPE 3-Inch Steel Pocket Slide Caliper Rule (Patented June 4, 1892) acquired at a local "Estate/Auction Sale". Made in Providence, R.I. USA.
ThisStarrett Pocket Slide Caliper is in very good condition and all the numbers are readable to take your measurements. A very hard to find tool and fully functional . There are someminor discoloration spots on it due to age & storage. Howeve...r, there is no previous owner's name marked on it. This Caliper rule is 3" long and graduated with 1st corner in 8ths; 2nd corner in 16ths; 3rd corner in 32nds; 4th corner in 64ths; and the slide in 32nds and 64ths of an inch. The slide can be clamped securely in position by a push button. This handy tool permits quick, accurate outside and inside measurements. Its compact size fits easily inshop coat pockets. This Caliper Rule is made of fine quality steel. This is a very handy tool and a welcome addition to your toolbox. Please view all the photos for more condition & description of the item.
