For your consideration this delightful and very rare Edwardian sterling silver button hole holder. These lovely items were often used for weddings or other special occasions. This elegant piece is designed to sit in the button hole of a gentleman's jacket. This miniature vase would have been used to hold a small vile of water and a single flower, allowing the flower to keep fresh throughout the day. Often given as a gift, these rare items can then be worn again after the even...t.

ConditionVery good with good and crisp hallmarks.  Minor dints and one larger dint to the casing but all commensurate with age and use.
