This is a RARE 16mm COLOR print of“LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME”, a 1955 MGM release, starring DORIS DAY and JAMES CAGNEY.This MUSICAL DRAMA is based on the life of torch singer RUTH ETTING (anincredible DORIS DAY), and her relationship with an abusive, violent gangster(a terrifying JAMES CAGNEY). There’s some terrific musical numbers sandwichedin between the drama, all wonderfully sung by DAY in the style of the originalETTING recordings. Print is in very nice shape, with no vinegar.
