Original Description:
This one-of-a-kindpiece of petrified wood was fossilized with fungus attached to it. It has exceptional patterns shown on both sides, which are the result of "pocket rot fungus." This was personally collected from northeastern Arizona.This wood is from theTriassic period, which makes it approximately 220 million years old. This piece weighs just over 2 lb. The bark is all around except about a 1/3" thinning area.
