Original Description:
Super nice felt participant patch for what was supposed to be the first Boy Scout National Jamboree held in 1935 in Washington, DC. This Jamboree was canceled due to a polio outbreak.
I found two of these patches in a WW II foot locker I purchased at a garage sale.  The locker contained newspapers from 1944 as well as the patches.
This patch is in very nice condition with 3 very small flaws around the edge.  Don't know if it's a manufacturing defect or some sort of dama...ge.  Please view photos.
