You are bidding on an electronically restored McIntosh MC2255 power amp with new power transistors. 250 watts RMS per channel into 2, 4, 8 ohms loads via auto transformer. Everything checks out fine. This is one of the few amps that McIntosh made comes with a self test at start up. A neat feature. All the panel lamps and status lamps are working. The volume potentiometer has be cleaned.
The chassis has some light rust, unable to detect any lifting of the black paint in the front pan...el, please review photo to confirm condition of the unit and judge for yourself. If you need additional photo, please message me.

This unit is heavy, about 85 pounds by itself thanks to those auto transformers. This unit will be mounted (screwed) on a wood base box for shipping. It will be double boxed just the how McIntosh ships amps. Most likely the ship weight to be 115 pounds. I prefer local pickup if possible due to the weight of this unit. We can power up for your review if local pickup. I will include insurance because of this weight.
