Here's a 1907 Victor I disc phonograph with an original Victor horn. As you can see in the pictures, the phonograph and horn are about as nice as they come.
Condition is close to mint. The crank is a replacement (identical to the original), but the phonograph is otherwise original throughout, with no repairs, no restoration, no refurbishing, no issues. Original cabinet finish exhibits virtually no wear and has no chips, no dents, no dings, no missing chunks of wood, no problems. Just furniture quality blonde oak that's clearly been pampered over the course of its lifetime.
Spring barrel and gearing are clean, and the motor has no trouble making it through a 7", 8" or 10" record with a single winding.
The horn is in excellent condition, with glossy original paint and an original "Nipper" decal that's almost perfect.
Excellent original Victor Exhibition reproducer with good mica and an undamaged needle bar.
The back-bracket is pristine, with beautiful original decorations and original enamel. The nickel-plated fittings gleam, the original turntable felt exhibits minimal wear, The ID plate is clean and legible, the brake is working properly. The elbow and universal adapter are both original, and the machine can be set up with virtually any size Victor horn.
Base (excluding back bracket) measures approximately 11" x 11" x 6".
Overall, an exceptional 115+-year-old Victor that will arrive ready to play and enjoy.
I'll include with the phonograph an early, acoustically Victor record, and if you get tired of listening to them, there are plenty of other titles available on ebay and elsewhere. Thousands of early acoustic 78 RPM records show up on ebay on a weekly basis, and they typically sell for just a few dollars each.
