Here's a Very Nice Condition Vintage Plate or Film Pack Camera from circa 1920 made by Mentor - Goltz & Breutmann Company of Berlin & Dresden, Germany. It's a very unusual camera, it's a Reflex--- an early SLR of sorts and it folds flat like a book. It's in Very Good Condition, except it's not working--- has some internal problems with the reflex mirror and the shutter curtain is gummed up--- inoperable. I don't really know what is all wrong, bu...t you can't shoot with it as is. Cosmetically---- the "leather" covering is complete all around--- really very little wear or scuffs--- Nice. The film pack back is also in Great shape. The shutter does not cycle--- would need an overhaul. The Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar lens--- 15cm f/4.5--- looks very good too--- no fungus or separation but with a little bit of oil on the aperture--- but it works well, as does the helical focusing. So that's all I can tell you---- Great Collectible Condition but not working--- selling as is for Parts, Repair or as a nice collectible. I try to be detailed and truthful but I can't describe every every inch of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention... but they would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be better than described. What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
