Up for auction is a pair of unrestored original condition circa 1928 Western Electric Powers Cameragraph mod...el 6B 35MM sound projectors with Universal Sound System sound heads with consecutive serial numbers.
These should be in a museum!
The projectors both date to approx 1928 and feature the rare Universal Sound System model A sound heads. Both sound heads have low serial numbers and are 157 and 158.
These have been in a private collection since the 1950's when they were removed from their original theater. They are now ready for a new home and a collector that wants to restore them.
The Projectors are both in good condition for the age and with a good clean and mechanical once over they would be a good easy restoration. They dont need much work to get them all cleaned up. There may be missing parts etc. Please see pictures for details on condition. These are sold as is and as parts/repair with no returns.
The pink paint is not original but would be easy to put back to black.

The projectors are heavy so shipping is going to be expensive. USA and Canada Shipping will be using a freight forwarding company Please email for quotes. For overseas buyers I can usually get a decent shipping rate using an airport to airport or sea shipping service with a freight forwarding company which means you would need to pick the projectors up from the airport or sea port and clear customs your self. Because I would be shipping to an airport or a shipping depot and not a confirmed paypal address I can only accept a bank w ire transfer for paymet with airport to airport or Freight shipping services .
