Measure just over 6" long and have 1stLt bullion rank on red wool backing affixed by tiny pins. Even better is that these have USMC buttons (these are often found with US Navy as well as USMC buttons). I have provided a reference photo of three well known officers that are dated in the early 1900's with these style knots on full dress and mess dress uniforms. The three photos are not for sale in this auction. The auction is for the knots only.
