Original Description:
for auction a poor used condition Stanley 2 smooth bottom plane. It is estate fresh, I have done some limited cleaning on the sides and the sole of the plane. The obvious chunk of the right side is missing. It also appears to been welded in the throat area ( see pictures) The welds are really good and I missed it the first couple of times that I looked.  The blade and chip breaker are  good. The blade has the sweet heart mark. The lever cap is good and will clean up easily. T...he knob is good , it has a couple of small tight stress cracks at the base. The handle has a glued crack. The screws and mounting hardware are good and correct. I am selling it for great parts or a serious restoration project.   Please see pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid.
