This interesting selection of 7 antique brass weights for a postal balance were made by Mordan. They include two rarities, the 2/3 ounce weight and one marked "F", both of which related to the cost of sending letters by the Packet ships to France in the mid 1800s. Some are marked with the number of Postal Units (P) which, at the time were equivalent to 1/2 ounce per "P". They are all in very good aged condition as shown.
