The case incorporates some wonderful detailing and is finished off with a lovely domed top. This is a superb clock made by the renowned makers GUSTAV BECKER and the movement is stamped accordingly. If you are looking for an exqui...site clock, this one will surly fit the bill.The door with lovely thick bevelled glass with a brass bezel which opens to access the dial. The dial is silvered and is set out with Arabic numerals. Below the dial is a lovely detailed inlay of an urn and there is also a fine inlay of stringing to the edge of the case. The clock is then raised on brass bun feet. The case is in lovely condition, and has a lovely rich patina. The clock is happily ticking away and keeping good time having recently been serviced. The clock chimes the hour and once at half past the hour on a gong.The movement is access via a door to the rear this has a lovely fretted panel which is lined in red fabric, to allow the sound of the Westminster chimes to attenuate. The movement is stamped with with a Gustav Becker trademark which incorporates an anchor and crown with 'GB SILESIA' below and is also stamped 'P21'. In addition this clock comes complete with it's winding key and pendulum. DIMENSIONS:
