The design on this tray is beautifully detailed featuring a crinoline lady with a ruched and appliqued dress, bonnet and parasol - she is carrying a tiny felt posy of flowers as she walks through her delicately embroidered garden. This datesfrom the 1930s I think when these were a popular pastime for women to
The background to the garden is delicately painted in pale greens, which compliment the flowers and dress.
Please note that there is some slight watermarks to the upper right outer edge.
the tray is housed in a heavy wooden frame which has been painted silver on the upper edge, there are chips and wear to the paint work as one would expect for something of this age and previous use
The wood and the glass make this a heavy item to post. This measures 15 and a quarter inch by 11 1/2 inches.
As indicated above the handles would be unscrewed but posted with the tray and please note that the other glass cannot be insured for posting overseas. There is a risk in sending this abroad that glass might break so I always packed carefully
