Rare and original, 1920’s Pair of Native American Algonquin Indian Bead Decorated, Hide Moccasins.
This outstanding Pair of early 20th century Algonquin Moccasins each measure approx. 8 3/4" long at their soft soles. The spot beaded, stylized floral decoration is simple yet beautiful and executed using colors of translucent yellow, pea green, translucent red, translucent dark green and cobalt blue. These wonderful Algonquin Moccasins are made of a soft, bra...in tanned hide – sinew sewn with shape cut applied cuffs and contiguous, bead bordered tongues.
The Moccasins offered here are unconditionally guaranteed original and of the period. They are NOT reproductions or modern recreations but original Algonquin Moccasins crafted in the first half of the 20th century. The Moccasins come with our “no questions asked” return privilege and our lifetime guarantee of authenticity. This rare and original, pair of 1920’s Algonquin Indian Bead Decorated Moccasins are in very good condition. The hide elements are well preserved and sound with surface soiling and some honest wear to the soles but no physical damage or repairs of any kind. The beadwork is well preserved with no damage or bead loss. All elements of the Moccasins are original and there has been no repairs or restorations.
