Sword measures approximately 35-1/2 inches long. The fancy blade is marked M.C. Lilley and Co. Columbus Ohio, and it is personalized James M. Harrison. Estimated age of manufacture 1890-1910.
Condition wise, the grip has some discoloration but no cracking. The blade has beautiful etchings of famous templar holy land battles and has areas or spots of surface oxidation Scabbard shows some scuffs and tarnish. Blade shows no nicks and tip is in excellent condition.
Ov...erall length is 37 inches. Shipping weight is 4 Lbs.
I believe the white bone looking grips were for the knight commanders while the swords with the black ebony grips were for the knights.
