The same year, 1994, Zippo introduced the Scrimshaw series to capture the beauty of this traditional art form. It features an Ivory toned chip made of acrylic, etched with simulated Scrimshaw Art of an old Square Rigger Ship as well as a Lighthouse guiding it home ...to safety. These lighters were designed to replace the original Scrimshaw series that Zippo discontinued in 1978. The images on these beautiful lighters are unequally detailed. This lighter is showing some careful use and minimal handling. The image is Vibrant and is sharp and clear.
