Offering this original oil pastel landscape painting of an openfire and shelter alongside a creek or lake, the setting sun reflected on the waters wherethe boat is tied up, signed Gillette. I believe this artist is listed artist, Lester Alphonso Gillette (1855-1940). The painting is in very good condition and appears to be in the original frame. The painting measures 20 by 40 inches and the original vintage circa 1920's frame measures app...rox. 24 by 44 inches. This artwork is in very good condition. There are a couple of small spots at the top left that appear to be original to the art work The frame is rather interesting and shows a bit of wear but I wouldn't change it. The entire painting with the original frame displays beautifully. It is a beautiful, original antique work of art. Thanks for looking. *********If there is any overage paid on shipping it will be refunded to you. This will be professionally packed and shipped via UPS or Fed Ex.
