A very solid superking size double bed dating from the 1920's. With wonderful crown cut walnut veneers to the headboard and with matching walnut veneers to the footboard..The bed has brand new slats fitted (they were removed at the time the photographs were taken bu...t please see the last photo showing the slats fitted). The slats are supported on either side of the bed and are also supported with a central stretcher that runs down the centre of the bed, from the headboard to the footboard, giving the whole bed extra strength and stability.
All that is required is a mattress (180cm x 200cm). Or the slats could be very easily removed and a divan base could be insertedThe bed is currently being stored in our warehouse (not being used, tried or tested) in a clean and dry, smoke-free, pet-free environment ready for FREE delivery to your home in the UK.
