1959 Allis Chalmers D17 Diesel Serial Number D-17 15627D, this tractor starts runs and drives excellent, you can leave it at a dead idle and it will start right up, it is the best starting and running D17 Diesel I have seen, the rear rims are spin outs, the rear tires are 14.9/28 at 95% tread and like new, the front tires are very good 4 rib tires, it is 12 volt and the charging system works, it has a drawbar hitch and a good working three point hitch, the sheet metal is very good and ...solid a few minor dings but nice, the paint is very nice, it has the original tach. in it but is not working, fenders are very good and solid, the clutch, brakes and transmission all work good, the trans is good and stays in all gears, the HI/LO works good, it has a good working PTO and remote hydraulics, the fuel gauge still works, has correct original lights but are currently not working, the wide front is good and original, steering is good, radiator is good and full of antifreeze. this tractor does not need anything, it is the easiest starting D17 Diesel I have seen you can have it at a dead idle and it fires right up, runs great, you can put it right to work or add it to your collection, only a little over 12000 were built, hard to find in this condition.
