unusual heavy duty C clamp with a second tightening screw on the back side. some light surface rust; screw could use a little grease. allows you to use one hand to hold the items in place while you turn the smaller back screw to secure the clamp, then turn the main screw to final tightness. weighs almost 4 1/2 lbs. marked in raised letters GRAND PAT PEND 4 4A.
