Surgeon, 4TH U.S. ARTILLERY, WAR OF REBELLIONDr. Martin B. Mosser was born in Upper Paxton, Dauphin Co., Penn.
He studied medicine in the office of Dr. E. H. Coover, in New Cumberland.
He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1862, and entered the army
as assistant surgeon of the Fourth United States Artillery; was assigned
to duty in the Uni...ted States general hospital at Philadelphia.He resigned in 1865, and commenced civil practice at Shiremanstown. He
married Rebecca Rupp, and became the father of two children; removed to
