Copeland Spode purpose-made porcelain lamp base - in the Chinese Rose pattern
The lamp base requires rewiring to modern standards. Nothing remains of the original wiring, apart from the brass fittings, top and bottom, as seen in the photos
NB The base colour is actually off-white. My camera has insisted on bleaching it to bright white. The other colours are all true ;-)
