This listing is for an antique gilt bronze patina and Sevres porcelain urn or vase. The urn measures 15 1/2 inches or 39.3 cm high and is 4 3/4 inches or 12 cm at its widest. The urn features a gilt bronze base with a porcelain stem glazed in deep cobalt blue and heavy applied gold. The body of the urn is hand painted with a courting couple walking in a landscape setting. The back of the urn is hand painted with a beautiful landscape. The urn has a long slender neck with a slightly fl...ared rim, it is cobalt blue and encrusted with gold. The handles are curved and ornate, the base, handles and collars on the top and bottom of the body are in there all gilt gold patina or color.The condition is very good, the piece did have a cover at some point in time but unfortunately we do not have it.
