Vintage Personal Items from Vietnam War - Condition is Used. All of these items were either inherited from a veteran relative, bought on Ebay or bought from local veterans directly. There are no repro items listed here. No reserve.
Ammo can, painted red, says '1st PLT', inside smells like rifle grease, clasp and hinges work, no major dents or rust. Good cond.
10 Johnson and Johnson bandages, some older than others, ge...nerally good condition.
Box containing Medical Cotton, DSA-9257, 1964. Cotton rumpled, box is falling apart. Brought home from Long Binh by uncle, early war.
"Memory of South Vietnam" photo album. Small paint stain on cover. Years after the war, the veteran removed the 'magnetic' plastic page covers and glued regular white paper onto the sticky pages. Then he glued the pictures back into the book on the white paper pages. 29 pictures, mostly either a base camp or else pictures-of-pictures taken from a nudie magazine - nothing at all explicit or pornographic. A few of parents and wife during R&R in Hawaii. Several blank pages at end of album. Good cond.
Zippo, marked with 18th Military Police Bn symbol. Has VN map below. Other side has 'KEN' and Snoopy flying a plane. Bottom is pictured for year verification. NOT A REPRODUCTION. Insert will not come out of case and I was scared to pull it any harder. Lighter does spark. Good cond.
MACV Phrase Book, dirty and sweat-stained. No year but mentions gratitude towards the USMC for content. No year. Still good cond.
Chieu Hoi leaflet, thin paper, fair cond, a few pinholes and a couple specks of dirt stain.
Vietnam Handbook for US Forces, date 1967. A little dirty but all intact. A couple of pen marks or scribbles on back. Good cond.
