RARE 1935 Coleman 242A White Gas Lantern W/ No. 36 Handy Pail & Mica Globe

You’re bidding on an extremely hard to find Coleman 242A single Burner white gas Camping Lantern. This lantern has a new and unfired mica globe and original Coleman No.36 Handy Pail carrying case. This lantern is in overall great condition and has been thoroughly cleaned and polished. Dated 5/1 for January 1935. The vent hood has some imperfections in it and is slotted. The fuel tank and lantern frame have a high mirror polish to them. No leaks or cracks in fuel tank. Handy Pail has ...been restored and new sticker applied, there are a few scratches and dents as can be seen in the photos. New cap gasket installed and leather pump cup has been soaked in neatsfoot oil.
The lantern has not been fired up after polishing so as not to fire mark the Burner tubes. It has been pumped up and checked for function, all appears to work well and should fire up without any issues.
