Vintage 1920s Art Deco Sterling Silver Guilloche Enamel Compact Powder Rouge PotGorgeous little vintage Art Deco Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel compact powder/rouge pot. When I discovered this little beauty, I opened it up and gasped with delight when I saw the little original puff was inside - a rarity! The lid of the compact features every so sweet delicate little blue flowers and a small loop for attaching to a chatelaine perhaps. The inside is beautifully gilded.Marked S...terling along with a makers mark which I believe is for the Webster Company, North Attleboro, Massachusetts found in 1869 by George K Webster.Condition - Very good, only a couple of things to note - some light surface scratches to the underneath as to be expected and there is a tiny area of dullness to one corner of the enamel - I have had an eye glass on it and cannot tell if it is damage or surface rubbing/coating - it is located on the very top edge left corner in photo number one.Measures approx 3.5 x 3.7 x 1 cmI also have just listed lots of antique and vintage items and jewellery so please take a look in my eBay store.
