SIGNED CDV John A. Moore 102nd Ohio Infantry. Taken in Nashville, Tennessee.

The fort was cowardly surrendered to the enemy when an overwhelming force captured and destroyed many members of the 102d. The officers and men were... taken to Selma and Cahawba, Alabama, and when paroled took passage on the ill fated steamer Sultana.
