VERY LARGE BATTLE AX, THE HEAD IS OF GOOD STEEL ENGRAVED ON BOTH SIDES, ONE SIDE WITH MALTESE CROSS ANOTHER WITH HORSE FIGHTING A DRAGON. THE SHAFT OD OF DARK WOOD WITH BRASS TIP WHICH HAS A LONG IRON SPIKE FOR BACK THRUSTING. CONDITION IS GOOD WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, HEAD AND SHAFT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1500s TO 1700s. TOTAL LENGTH IS 48 1/2" BLADE IS 11"
