Here's a very nice rare thumbnail with plenty of native gold both on the top and inside the quartz associated with small areas of a rare as-yet not named Telluride comprised of galena and bismuth and a new mineral for Michigan.  This piece came from the group of gold mines north of Ishpeming in Marquette county.  I got this specimen from my friend who chased down all the rare gold localities in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  This is one of the last specimens he had th...at he was parting with and this is the only extra I got!  You won't find a cheaper Michigan gold or more interesting gold specimen with tellurides from Michigan in this price range...I promise!
