Description: I BUY SWORDS ANDWHOLE COLLECTIONS!CONTACTUS with any questions! 804 23 9 549 0Item Description: This is an original Japanese naval officersparade saber from World War 2. The blade is in Near MIN...T conditionand the mountings are in Excellentcondition. It is a healthy sword with a blade length of 26 inches (66cm) and atotal length of 33.5 inches (85cm). The blade features a kogarasumaru shape with bo-hi, or fullers, on both sides.The mounts are in Excellentcondition. The handle shows a nice brown patina with all cherry blossomengravings readily visible. The inner part of the handle is rayskin wrapped inwire. All of the wire-wrappings are present and tight. The scabbard is leatherand shows some light cracking and wear, retaining roughly 92-95% original finish. The blade is in Near MINT condition. There are no nicks, a few smallscratches, and a very few small spots of rust. Overall I think this would be anoutstanding addition for a collector of WW2 militaria or Japanese swords.
