We are offering a Japanese WW2 issued Squad Leaders Cleaning Kit for the Arisaka Rifle....These are extremely hard to find especially with all the (4) sections of "rods" plus the serparate shorter 4 3/4" milled rod...so 5 pieces included with this auction. The green canvas case is well marked and proofed and the closure leather strap is missing a small section (See Photos). The stiching on the back side of the closure strap is sewn in place..just like it was when issued dur...ing WW2...the leather sewn piece containing the original buckle is near perfect (see photos).. The is a white silk cord wrapped around the case...and adhered to the silk cord with some sort of adhesive material...might be to keep the silk cord in place when not in use... We think there will be collectors of Japanese rifles that will want to bid on this..and few were ever issued and only to Squad Leaders.
