Please read the following carefully. And please recognize the characteristic of each method.1, e-packet (International REGISTERED AIR small PACKET) e-packet is the fast and safe shipping method(air mail) that sends the item up to 2 kg(included packing material). And e-packet has limitation of size. The sum total of three sides is up to 90 cm. The package over limitation of weight and size will be shipment by EMS or SEA MAIL. The registration fee is included in the cost. And an indemnity of the maximum of USD60.00 is included in it. And e-packet has tracking number. But some countries can not be tracking. The arrival date is about one week to two weeks. But the arrival date changes days according to situations, such as transportation service, customs clearance, and handling by country.2, EMS (Express Mail Service) EMS is an fastest and safest shipping method with full indemnity to breakage or loss. And you can be tracking the package. The arrival date is usually less than one week. But the arrival date changes days according to situations, such as transportation service, customs clearance, and handling by country.3, SEA MAIL SEA MAIL has a tracking number and indemnity as well as EMS. And it is cheaper than EMS. But it requires very long time to arrival. Arrival date is one month to two months. Some countries require three months. There are some countries that cannot use SEA MAIL. Offered forauction is my Model 1811 Prussian Blucher Saber with scabbard and marks. Theshadows and reflections on the pictures are just that. See all photos for abetter idea of overall condition.I purchasedthis sword from a local estate sale and they had no history other than It washanging in his shop for years. This is the first military sword that I havehad, but Ill do my best to describe it. I do buy, sell and restore vintageedge tools (woodworking, hatchets, axes, etc.) so I have knowledge ...of vintagemetal and marks. The scabbardwas very rusty and I did clean it which revealed the marks and numbers that Iwill list. No grinding was done, just rust removal. The scabbard does have somedeeper pits near the lower end and lesser pits appear on the upper sections. Ithas minimal denting and is solid. These scabbards were folded and formed andthe seam was brazed. The original brazed seam is visible. Both of the mountingrings are in place. Stamped in the scabbard body just below the throat, isR.P.C.21.32. The top ring flange is marked 919R1. The scabbard is 34 ½ long and weighs 2 7oz.The Saberitself was not rusty and had some sort of preservative grease on the blade(thank goodness). I wiped the grease off with WD-40 and found that for the mostpart, the sword is not pitted. It has been cleaned at some point and there isan area on the flat on one side near the point that has some former pits thathave worked and polished, but are still visible. (see photo). There are a fewother pits that I could easily work out (if it were one of my edge tools) but Idont know proper sword restoration and will leave the blade as-is. This bladeis not sharp other than the point and shows no signs sharpening aftermanufacture. The sword isabsolutely tight in the grip. The leather is coming off one side of the grip. There is light pitting on the guard, but nothing deep. Just belowthe hilt on the spine of the blade are 3 marks. The first isa Crown over a W over the number 83.The secondis a Crown over a stylized English letter that I cant make out, but I presumethat its a proof mark as there are 4 other such marks on the mount and guard. The third is a Crown over RCStamped onthe guard edge just above the rain guard is 4.A.F.4.69. Just outboard fromthat mark is a stamped number that I cant make out for sure, but I believethat it is 906. I hope all of the marks help to indentify the sword as Im not familiarwith GermanPrussian marks and proofs other than on firearms. The swordwithout the scabbard weighs 2 12.5 oz. and is 38 in overall length. Please lookat the photos, ask questions, ask for additional photos, and read thedescription before bidding. This is a NO RETURN auction, as opinions ofcondition on antique items are wildly varied. In return, Ill start this swordat a low no reserve price and be happy with the results. Shippingwill be by FedEx ground Home Delivery.
