For sale:Wow, never thought that the day would come, but it’s time to finally pass this beauty on to a new home. Today I offer one of my personal grail items, a coveted and hard to find (“MOC”) 1979 Star Wars Boba Fett 21 back-B original vintage action figure, still factory blister sealed to the original factory card. I can’t call this example ‘mint on card’ because it is not mint, but it’s in higher condition and is a very nice, collectible piece with strong colors and a... very firm seal, excellent display ability. I am not familiar with action figure grading, but on a general scale, I would believe this item to be in the 7.0-8.0 range out of 10.0. I don’t know if there exists a process to press action figure card backs like as with comic books, but if you can, this is the PERFECT candidate for such a process. Then you would have a real stunner here!!A beautiful vintage example which does have: some minor/general cardboard warping to the top right and left side/corner area of the card back, but the warping is not caused by water and there are no stains. No physical damage or substance caused the warping it is simply age related warping. The top right corner is slightly frayed, top left corner has a very slight card separation, bottom right corner has very-very minute fray wear starting. The plastic blister is tight, strong and relatively clear, with only one small area of separation on the left side, toward the top left corner, as seen in photos. No cracking, hazing, or brittleness; the blister is very clean, fresh, and pliable. Ink and colors are strong and bright, and fresh considering the age with only very-very slight overall yellowing to the front side, back side appears to be unaffected. One small crease front side middle right, barely breaks color. And about 5 relevant creases to the back side but none excessively deep, mostly cosmetic/lighter creasing. Small strip of old adhesive/glue, should be easily removed with no defect. Besides those major defects, it’s a Very clean item.
