ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ROSE POINT DE GAZE LACE; exquisite dress collar and head adornment!! Rose designs in low relief, with little loops (picots) and rosettes. These two delicate lace pieces are of Venetian origin. They belonged to my Great-Aunt who travelled frequently to Europe with her husband around the turn of the century.  Both pieces are ivory-colored, the small piece slightly lighter in color than the collar. The small piece can make a beautiful tiara for a wedding veil!
Fr...om the top point to the bottom point is 27".  Point to point measurement is 23". The lace at the top is 9" wide. The small piece is 8 1/2 x 4 inches.
