The Alzer suitcase has long been the true workhorse of the Louis Vuitton Trunk collection. Specifically designed to keep up with the more sophisticated travel of the day these hard case trunks were smaller and lighter than their large wardrobe counterparts and therefore could be used more easily in trains and the up and coming world of aviation.
This would be perfect to place on the shelf of a wardrobe or corner of the room, perhaps even as an addition to a gallery. The p...ossibilities are endless!
This particular Alzer 60 spent a life of travel and has a wonderful aged patina, not often seen with these pieces. This trunk was used to it's fullest and truly shows the build quality of these hand crafted items.
As seen in the photos the trunk has wear throughout, the handle is darkened with patina but very sturdy and ready for more.
The top rear right corner was lost somewhere along it's many journeys. The trunk itself however is still very solid.
Includes a new Interior tray provided by Louis Vuitton.
The lock is in good working order and the trunk includes one key
The trunk comes with a large oversized dust bag, it has two small tears.
