Here's an early and exceptionally nice Kodak Ordinary "C" camera. The camera comes with its original lens, its original string-set shutter (and brass string pull), its original roll film back, its original front door, and its original leather carrying handle.
The camera is correct and complete and in outstanding condition throughout. Finish on the polished wood housing is original and exhibits virtually no wear. Brass hardware is clean and undamaged. Lens is clear and undamaged. Focusing mechanism works. Film winder works. Counter works. Shutter is sticky (particularly at slow speeds) but the shutter spring is still good. Viewfinder prisms and mirrors are clear, and the round black surrounds are intact and original. The cotton shutter string has been replaced with a nylon string, and the paper label on the bed of the camera is worn (see pics), but the camera is otherwise original and in wonderful shape given its age (almost 130 years old).
An extremely clean and original Kodak Ordinary C that needs nothing except a few inches of shelf space.
The camera measures approximately 11" x 7" x 5". Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 12 lb.
