ORIGINAL GERMAN IMPERIAL WWI M-16 HELMET GERMANY MAILING LABEL STAMP FROM FRANCE. This is a fantastic German helmet that was sent back to his family in the United States by a US soldier. It is amazing that the original mailing label, which is made out of white tape, is still intact. Along with this helmet comes a stack of 10 or 12 papers that prove the sender was in the war. None of them Mentioned the label or The Helmet though.The helmet has great patina, and most of the original pain...t. It does not have an inner liner of any sort. I cannot find a size stamped anywhere. However, the name “TH KLEIN“is written on the inside back edge, and something like 6- M is written on the inside left edge.
