My dad was a jazz DJ at WAMO-FM in the early 60s, as well as in the record business. This is from his collection, and I believe it was part of his store inventory. This is a nice-looking and playing record. Will consider trade for CD.
This is speculation, but this may also be the first Jazzline rercord ever issued. The Catalog # is JAZ-33-01 (Jazz, 33 rpm, 1st in catalog). This obscure label bears an address of 1162 E.223rd Street (Harlem), Ne...w York 66, N.Y., so this is before zip codes came out in '63.
This record is almost impossible to find in its original, American edition. Everything you see is generally a Japanese import and starts at $60.
