Walt Disney The Three Caballeros 16mm Technicolor Film. Condition is Used.This 16mm print starts in Eastman with brilliant color, but it is starting to warm (the blue dye in Eastman film actually changes to red as it ages, causing the film to 'warm'). Right at Pablo the Penguin's iglo melting, it switches to Technicolor, with vivid true colors, and is a Technicolor print for the duration of the film. I photographed most of these pictures on my painted kitchen door, and didn't realize t...hat the streaks make the film look scratched. The last pic is on a different surface, and is a more accurate representation. I can furnish more pics by email if desired. The beginnings of both reels are checked (short horizontal scratches usually caused by winding the film too tightly) quite a bit, but the majority of each film doesn't have major scratches. There is minor checking here and there, some possibly from the original negative. It comes with each original reel change somewhat. This film is only on two reels, however. Both reels have moderate splicing at the beginnings, but only maybe a couple of splices for the duration of each film. There are no missing scenes. The film is complete, though someone had used cement splices (common), and so there is minor loss at those sections due to that splicing method. Many of the cement splices failed, and I replaced them with perforated adhesive splices which seem to work well.
