The clock benefits from a architectural top with a lift out glazed door to the side to gain access to the dial and hands. The front has this beautiful inlaid boulle and enamel decoration all of which is in excellent condition and has a stunning display look. On either side of the case it has a arched glazed panel through which you can see the fully serviced movement. The case has a beautiful ebonised finish and has a removable back door to gain access to the movement The Clock Measures - 8.5 inches high x 6 inches wide x 5 inches deepDialThe clock has a 4.5 x 3.5 inch white enamel porcelain dial which has Roman numerals and has its original gilded hands. The dial is protected by its glazed lift out panel, the dial is signed F.L. Hausburg A Paris, the dial is in great condition for age but there is a small nic around the right winding arbourMovementThe movement is a high quality French 8 day bell striking movement which strikes on the half past and on the hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time with its French pendulum and comes with a winding key, the movement dates to circa 1840 and is also signed by F.L.
