According tothe Wikipedia - Charles Limbert was one of the most successfulfurniture leaders in the history of Grand Rapids and the Arts and Crafts movement in America. The furniture that bears his name isoften the most extraordinary examples of Arts and Crafts furniture ever made, and to this day is highly sought after and seriously collected.Comparedwith Stickley's work, Limbert's designs were typically less severe and morevisually interesting, usually achieved through the use of cut-outs and otherelements inspired by such diverse influences as English Arts and Crafts, Dutchfolk furniture, Scottish architectdesigner CharlesRennie Mackintosh, and the Vienna Secession.
