c. 1931-32 JEAN HARLOW reclining on stool wearing bias cut velvet dressing gown, when the actress visited New New City while on tour, a number of famous photographers solicited the opportunity to photograph her as well an artist name CHARLES SHELDON, he had her model for his studio reference to use the images for rendering drawings of the actress which appeared motion picture magazine covers. He was known for his colorful pastel illustrations of celebrities as well illustrations f...or magazines stories. The was for his use not for film studio exploitation publishing and was purchase directly for the artist estate by an art collector who purchased his entire collection for his studio in the late 1970’s
