This is a signed arts & crafts Hampshire pottery vase with applied lightning bolts. It measures appx. 7 1/2" tall by appx. 4 1/2" wide at the handles and is marked on the bottom as shown. It is a book piece and is described as: an ovoid form with small loop handles at the center sides, a molded band at the rim and base and creamy white lightning-like bars against a matte green ground. I looked it over carefully and in the last photo on the top rim you can see a minute pin... point glaze flake that I needed a loupe to find and it may be a glaze miss, not sure. I see two other dots of glaze missing near the lighting bolts and I assume they were made at the factory when the clay was applied but again I'm not sure. Regardless I would still consider the condition to be excellent with no other flaws that I can see. The fifth photo looks like there is a small bubble in the glaze at the top but it is glare and not wear as it may appear. Found in an old basement it may need cleaning but I have left it as found and it looks fine as it is.
