Early and Massive Moorcroft Pottery Pomegranate Ceramic Floor Vase Estate Fresh
Large and early circa 1912 Moorcroft Pottery vase decorated with pomegranate, grapes and leaves. Wonderful design with great colors. Cracks to the rim been repaired as shown. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Moorcroft. Vase is 16 1/4" tall and 11" wide. Pomegranate was introduced in 1910 and the mottled green background was used between 1910 and the First W...orld War. After 1916 the background changed to deep blues and purples. Rare and estate fresh.
